Requirements
To register to vote, a person must
- Be a citizen of the United States (NRS 293.485)
- Be 17 years of age or older
- Actually, physically, and legally (not constructively) continuously reside in White Pine County for 30 days and in the precinct for 10 days preceding the day of the next succeeding election
- Provide official identification as proof of residence and identity, such as:
- Current Nevada Driver's License
- Current Nevada State Identification Card
- Rent receipt with pre-printed address
- Bank statement or pre-printed check
- Credit card statement
- Car registration or proof of insurance
- Government document (tax bill, income information)
- Current utility bill
- Provide Social Security number, Nevada driver's license, or Nevada identification card number (NRS 293.507)
Any person who has been convicted of a felony and has not had his/her civil rights legally restored, or has been legally declared insane or mentally incompetent, is not eligible to register to vote.
Only registered voters may vote.
