Happy Birthday to all celebrating Birthdays and Anniversaries this Month!


Blood Pressure Clinic offered by the City of Ely EMT/Fire Department
Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11am-12Noon 

Social Security Representative will call to assist any individuals with Social Security matters
Wednesday, July 12th at 2:00 pm 

Nevada Legal Services will be at the Senior Center
Thursday, July 13 from 9am – 2pm.
Sign-up sheet available in the office at Senior Center 

Total made at Annual Parking Lot Sale $498.35.
Thanks to all the volunteers that helped set-up, sell, and take down.
Thanks also to everyone that donated items.  Clean up went smooth with all the helping hands.  A big thank you goes out to - Mona Clayton, Luanne Griffith, Leilani Countryman, Jennifer Messina, Judy Nelson, Rosemary Reinertson, Nick Lyons, Cindy Bell, Carolyn Merrill, Donna Sjogren, Lori Romero, Heather and Lisa Davis.  I apologize if I have forgotten anyone.

  AARP is looking for a volunteer instructor for the AARP Driver Safety program. Need not be a senior citizen for this position! For more information contact Chris at the Senior Center.

A Day at the Airport at Ely Yelland Field Saturday, July 15th 6:00 am – 1:30 pm free admission
BLM smoke jumpers – mock jump; Young Eagles –free plane rides; drone flights in the hanger; Movie 1949 Hay Lift & Airport history; gliders on display; car display; Med Flight planes on display; food served; Re-Max balloon rides $5.00

Food Bank of Northern Nevada every first Friday of the month, July’s distribution is Friday the 7th.At First Baptist Church 701 Ave. N. @ 3pm

As always Bingo after lunch on Wednesday,
Exercise has taken a break for the summer. Beautiful weather for outdoor activities.  Pinochle group on Friday’s after lunch, players needed, any questions please call Joyce Bell 289-6904Or Beverly Sandberg 289-2964.  Senior bowling has also taken a break for summer, but keep up your game the bowling alley is open for Summer leagues.
