Free Legal Assistance Clinic at White Pine County Library
Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 1pm-3pm
Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Ely Air Races June 13-16 Be Part of History!
Many volunteers are needed to put on such an event

 The Annual Senior Center Parking lot sale will be Saturday, June 23.
8:00 am – 12noon
Accepting donations Friday, June 22 after 2:00 pm at the Senior Center.
Looking for volunteers to help set up on Friday afternoon and day of the sale, also need help in clean up and sales on Saturday. Contact Chris at the Senior Center 289-2742

Food Bank of Northern Nevada every first Friday of the month, June’s distribution is   Friday, June 1st At the First Baptist Church 701 Ave. N. @ 3pm-5pm 
USDA food distribution is Thursday, June 21st

As always Bingo after lunch on Wednesday
And as always exercise on Tuesday and Thursday before lunch.

Senior Bowling League every Wednesday @ 1:00 pm. Stop by Sunset Lanes for great fun and exercise each week with a pot luck and of course bowling J

Remember to support all our great donors and thank the individuals that so graciously give their time and money to help the Senior Center.

Remember Early Voting starts Saturday, May 26  & June 2 at County Clerk’s office 10am-2pm and Monday thru Friday 8am-6pm until June 8th.
And of course you can always vote at the Convention Center on June 12th from 7am-7pm

A question that is often asked – Why is so much food served at the meal?

Requirements for one meal served daily at the State of Nevada Aging & Disability Services Division nutrition sites: (that’s us! – White Pine Nutrition Program)

3 oz. edible cooked meat, fish, fowl, eggs or meat alternate

3 servings vegetables and fruits

2 servings starches/grains

1 cup low-fat milk or equivalent

Optional: fat, dessert, coffee or tea
